Coastal Craftsman

One of my latest projects Archway Properties just hit the market! This 2 story craftsman is in the Historic Kingman Place just off University. The main floor boasts a knocked out wall in the kitchen to expand the space into the dining room. Exposed brick, quartz counters, with an extremely functional peninsula, new paint lighting and flooring throughout. Check out the before and afters. Couldn’t be more pleased about how this property turned out.

First Floor Floor Face Lift

Let’s talk LIGHTING. Lighting can be such an easy and affordable thing to replace in an older home. This 2005 Urbandale ranch had heavy Tuscan lighting and a sponge painted fireplace that were immediate eye sores for it’s market and competition. I worked with the seller on budget and we were able to replace 13 light fixtures on the main level for under $2k. The return on investment would be major for this $489k listing. Thanks to the listing agent Gina Swanson, Webster Electric, Brian Bartlett Painting and my team we were able to change out lighting, paint and stage this home in 6 hours. Talk about team work!

Check out this quick and easy face lift below.

Home Sweet Home

Well the last seven months around the Miller/Lemmo home has been eventful to say the very least. Last Fall, when we found out I was pregnant we dove head first into home renovations.  Luckily for me, Tony (my partner) is hybrid between Martha Stewart and Bob Villa.  And luckily for him, I am really talented general contractor i.e. - picking out interior finishes, furniture and decor.  Here's an overall view of everything that has been completed thus far in our 66 year old Waveland Woods home. Stay tuned for room by room details with progress photos and details of what was used and where we found it.
